Brendan Facey

Brendan has broad experience across commercial law and insolvency.
He has substantial experience both within and working with both Commonwealth and State regulators. This has included licensing, making and interpreting regulations and making and assessing enforcement decisions and actions, across a broad range of regulatory bodies.
During his career operated as the Office of the Whistleblower at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. He has substantial experience engaging with government inquiries and complaints processes, including those undertaken by integrity agencies and Freedom of Information processes.
Being a skilled investigator, he has significant experience investigating workplace misconduct and fraud.
Brendan has substantial experience on both sides of government procurement processes, grants programs, contracting and contract management, probity and governance arrangements.
His governance experience includes directors’ duties and well as public interest disclosure regimes.
